Children's Guitars

My objective is to provide students with a high-quality instrument with a beautiful sonority and full-bodied sound.

Three-quarters size guitar for children

This is the 3/4 size guitar with a scale length of 575 mm. The overall length is 35.5 inches (90 cm). It is suitable for children between the ages of roughly 8 and 12 or 13.

The construction and materials are the same as my full-size guitars except that I don't use the V-joint neck and the tie-block uses a conventional 6-hole system for securing the strings to the bridge. The headstock uses a traditional and elegant Torres-style design. Schaller tuners come standard.

The strings are indivdually compensated to provide excellent intonation. The guitar can easily be converted to left-hand geometry.

The relative sizes of full size (650 mm scale), seven-eighths (615 mm) three-quarter (575 mm scale), and half-size (535 mm scale) are shown below.

This is the half-size guitar with a scale length of 535 millimeters. The overall length is about 31 inches (79 centimeters). It is suitable for children between the ages of roughly 5 and 8

As with the three-quarters size guitar, the construction and materials are the same as for my full-sized guitars save for the V-joint neck and using a 6-hole tieblock for the bridge. The headstock uses a classical Torres-style design and Schaller tuners are standard.

The strings are individually compensated for excellent intonation (not an easy task on a guitar this small). This guitar can also be easily configured for left-hand playing.
